When you place your order with Have Control Ltd., you agree to be bound by these published terms and conditions. We do reserve the right to amend, alter, or update these terms and conditions at any time without consequential recourse. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms and conditions.
1 Orders
1.1 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, verbally or in writing, before or after an order is placed.
1.2 All specifications, sizes and technical details are accurate to the best of our knowledge however specifications may change without notice. We will do our utmost to reach a satisfactory outcome should such situations arise.
2 Complaints
2.1 You should raise your complaint in writing (via post or email). We will always acknowledge your complaint within 2 days of receiving it. We will continue to keep you informed of progress throughout the life of your complaint until we are hopefully able to resolve it fully for you.
Please rest assured Have Control Ltd. take all complaints seriously and work hard to ensure we have resolved all matters as fully as possible.
3 Prices and representation of goods
3.1 To ensure we offer the most competitive prices wherever possible we reserve the right to adjust prices up or down without prior notice.
3.2 Prices are exempt of errors and omissions.
3.3 Pricing errors will be honoured on a strictly discretionary basis.
3.4 Should a pricing error occur we will contact you prior to dispatching your order and inform you of any change. You will then have the opportunity to confirm, cancel or amend your order.
4 Warranty
4.1 Each of our products is covered by its own manufacturer’s warranty which vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Please see website product descriptions for details.
4.2 In the unlikely event of a problem developing, parts and simple replacement instructions will be sent out free of charge to the customer if the unit is within the warranty period. If the warranty has expired, the parts will be made available at recommended retail price.
4.3 Any amendment or adaptation of the original product will invalidate the warranty unless specific written consent is received from both Have Control Ltd. and the manufacturer.
5 Discount Codes
5.1 We may occasionally send you discount codes via email or post.
5.2 Each discount code we generate is unique to you, it is not transferable and under no circumstances can be exchanged for currency. Each code has an expiry date which cannot be modified.
5.3 In most cases we issue a percentage discount, rather than a flat rate. In the case where a flat rate is issued as a discount, the total order value must be greater than the discount itself. Some discount codes are restricted to pacific manufacturers which means they can only be used with products produced by that manufacturer. Some discount codes may specify a minimum spend in order to be used. In this case the value of the order must be greater than the minimum spend.
5.4 Under no circumstances can the value of a discount code be deducted from an order if that code is invalid or has expired.
5.5 To use a discount code, you must enter your unique code in the space provided in the checkout area and click submit, your discount will then be calculated.
5.6 Any items you return to us for refund from an order where a discount code has been used, your refund will be equal to the value of the item returned less the discount attached to the order.
5.7 Only one discount code can be used per order.
6 Tell a Friend
6.1 When someone you have introduced to our site, who is not already registered, places an order you will both receive a discount code. To introduce a friend you must click on the link ‘’Tell a Friend’’. You will then be invited to enter your friends email address and submit their details.
6.2 We will send an email to your friend inviting them to visit our site but will not send them any further emails without their consent. Please ask for your friends consent before submitting their details and note that if asked, we will tell your friend who introduced them. You will receive your discount code when your friend has registered and place their first order.
6.3 Discount codes for introducing a friend will only be valid until 17th December 2009.
6.4 We reserve the right to not issue discount codes if we have suspicion that you have attempted to abuse the tell a friend scheme. Any abuse of vouchers can and will be stopped by us with immediate effect by cancelling all discount codes that have been issued to you.
7 Product Description Accuracy
7.1 We document as much technical information as is feasibly possible on our website however this is supplied as guidance only. We would ask that you do not use this information as a full technical specification as we cannot be held liable for any work carried out or other purchases made in error as a result of our specifications.
8 Installation
8.1 We strongly recommend you do not book fitters, tradesmen or other contractors based on delivery dates provided. You should wait until the products have been delivered and all items have been checked thoroughly.
8.2 We cannot be held liable for 3rd party costs as a result of failed deliveries or any other delays.
8.3 We strongly recommend you use only fully-qualified fitters and installers when installing our products.
9 Ownership
9.1 The images, descriptions and intellectual property within this website is the property of the site owners, suppliers and partners.
9.2 You may use the site, images and descriptions for your own research or purchasing needs but you should not reproduce any of the content for commercial purposes.

10 Limitation of Liability
10.1 Have Control Ltd cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect, special or consequential loss or damage as a result of the purchase and/or use of the products via our website unless there has been deliberate, fraudulent misrepresentation. This limitation extends to staff and partners of and suppliers to, Have Control Ltd. The only exclusion would be if a breach of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 had taken place. In any event, liability shall not exceed the value of the goods purchased.
10.2 These conditions in no way attempt to exclude or limit the liability of the Supplier for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10.3 Have Control Ltd. will use all reasonable endeavors to carry out its duties within a reasonable period of time but will not be liable for any loss, costs or expenses arising directly or indirectly from any delays. We will not be deemed to be in breach of contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to the goods, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. These include but are not limited to:
10.4 Explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident;
10.5 War or threat of war, sabotage, civil disturbance or requisition;
10.6 Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local authority;
10.7 Import or export regulations or embargoes;
10.8 Strikes, lock outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes;
10.9 Difficulties in obtaining actual stock, raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or machinery;
